Whether we analyze prior utilization, project revenue, calculate risk, act on your behalf with vendors, assist building compliance with new regulations, prepare fund documents or other communications, or provide the impartial sounding board you need...   Our experience supports your fund and your participants.	SUMMARY PLAN DESCRIPTIONS: SPD's must support participants in using the Plan as a family needs,yet clearly specify limits. Readable yet measured language must enable both of these. To "be silent" is to await expense and conflict. NEW YORK HEALTH CARE REFORM ACT: We advised select clients, from outset, to use an alternate compliance mode, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars. Peer firms have since asked us to assist their clients.   HIPAA SECURITY RULE: We did not identify problems and offer separate proposals to identify solutions. We did complete, cost effective engagements; and designed scalable, Rule compliant solutions to contain expense and effort.   PATIENT PROTECTION and AFFORDABLE CARE ACT We developed, obtained CMS/CCIIO acceptance, and implemented solutions to meet annual dollar limit mandate, yet contained plan exposure, and at same time averted benefit cuts which would have affected Grandfather status.    Clients did not have to use "skinny plans" nor buy into Minimum Essential Coverage preventive services only template plans. Hospitalization and other therapeutic services were maintained and enhanced, while exposure was controlled through a unique plan design.
